Beth studied fashion at University and went on to work in a small Theatre as the costume designer. She loved her job but always knew she wanted to work for herself, so she started to make and design things in her own time little by little she built up Blooming Kiwi to be the beautiful brand you see today and we love it!

“All of my designs are inspired by my daughter, her love for all things colourful and her obsession with animals. I believe kids should be kids and stay young and wild as long as possible! I hand make all the clothing myself in my hallway at home in Manchester UK, yes it is very cramped and there are often piles of fabric and bits of thread all over the house. But I wouldn’t change it for a thing!

Although the FMLY Store is not Manchester based we love the brand and ethos so much we couldn’t resist sharing them with you!

As you may have guessed from the name – this is a store for the whole family.

THE FMLY STORE is very much a family business. Created by Molly Gunn, founder of Selfish Mother with input from husband Tom Mangan, a music producer. Molly and Tom have been married since 2005, and work together most days as well as share childcare for their two boys, Rafferty, 6, Fox, 4 and little daughter Liberty, born in May 2017.

CARAFE

Carafe was dreamt up over a bowl of noodles by Jennie Gibson in 2013 after a long discussion with her now-husband about how she could put her love of beautiful ceramics to good use. One toddler and a baby bump later and she is proud to be bringing you her first online collection.

Along with Carafe’s in-house knitwear, she is showcasing the work of some fabulous makers from around the UK and further afield, who are as passionate as she is about craftsmanship and quality.
